About IEMA

Inland Empire Montessori Academy

The Inland Empire Montessori Academy is a unique private school designed for students with and without disabilities serving San Bernardo and Riverside Counties.

Our school focuses on meeting the individual needs of each child while implementing the Montessori Methodology.

Parents function as the learning coach and along with our trained Montessori Educational Therapists, we reach for the academic potential for each child.

Montessori meets the needs of the "whole" child, and we recognize there are many different ways of learning. We include the typical subjects- Math, Science, Language Arts and History, however, we also take it just one step further.

Imagine, your child learning fractions because they are helping you cook dinner. Or your child learning Egyptian History from an art exhibit at The Getty.

We focus on the quality of a students work- not quantity. We believe if you engage the student with interesting, creative, hands on activities students will seek out these opportunities because they are naturally curious.

In addition to academics, students have ample opportunities for social interaction while exploring the world around them. Every moment is a teachable moment- and with guidance students excel.

As a private school we have a unique opportunity to teach students based on their ability. Each child has a learning plan that identifies their strengths and areas that might need improvement. Lesson plans are developed specifically for your student.

We educate children ages 2-19 and are have a K-12 affidavit on file with the California Department of Education. We are not a home school group, but rather we implement a child's education using Montessori methodology- which meets the child at their developmental level.

Tuition to Inland Empire Montessori Academy is relatively low because we rely on parent to be the learning coach for their children.

Because we are a private school we do not provide additional services beyond educational therapy using Montessori methods. However, we do have several resources that parents can access to meet the additional needs of their student, such as Speech or Occupational Therapy.
